"Warm amber appearance, with a nose similar to extra old Jamaican rums but more winey, rich with dried grapes, and musky notes. Sweet and deep. Elegant softness on the palate with a chewy character. Medicinal herbs, coffee, cinchona, cola and cinnamon. Not overly sweet, thanks to the rich winey notes from the sherry cask. The finish is warm and soft with winey and spicy notes and a fragrance like dried figs. This release has echoes of Barolo Chianti or mulled wine." -Rum Nation
