A grade 83, model 8 pocket watch by the Rockford Watch Co, in an open face case with swing out movement. The movement is lever set, 15J, size 18, S/N 276073, estimated production 1886-1887. The case is marked Nickel Silver, Illinois Watch co. Hour hand with loss at tip, and a minor crack to the dial.
