Provenance: Estate of Roland Gissing, by descent; This work was acquired by the Gissings directly from the artist. Roland and Ester Gissing were good friends with Bev and Barbara Herbert for many years. The group would often go on sketching trips together, and while the men sketched, the women would visit (and sometimes sketch as well).
