"From the family collection, disgorged ten years after harvest, slightly lower than original dosage. A wet harvest that meant Chardonnay was the hero, Pinot Noir struggled to get to ripeness. Shows a savoury note to the nose, some intense flint and deep chalkiness, minerally, dried lemon pith and grapefruit. The palate has great acidity, really focused and tight, citrus flavours dominate here, really crisp, chalky and lemony right the way through. Super tight and focused. 96/100"
