One of the only remaining Lowlands distilleries, famed for their exclusive use of triple distillation, Auchentoshan breaks the Lowland norm by producing solely single malts rather than holding a reserve for blended malts. This individual cask release was distilled in 1990, placed into Ex-Bourbon casks for 15 years before being bottled at an impressive 59.9% ABV. This is bottle No. 1 of 162.
