"Appearance: reddish peach
Nose: sherry, raspberries, other berries, red licorice, candy, oak, butter, cocoa. With a few drops of water it gets a honey like sweetness.
Palate: hotter than I expected for an 18 year old…. That sounds weird, but I’ll leave it. lots of oak and sherry influence obviously, dry sherry, berries, dried apricot, sour apple. Less fruity though than the nose. I think this might benefit from a few drops of water. With water, it’s still a nice dry flavour with lots of oak, but sweeter and fruitier…. more of the berries from the nose come through.
Finish: finish is shorter without water, with water it’s long and fruity." - Toronto Whisky Society
