"Cherry cordials, plums, and earthy mint leaves open the nose of this year’s port-finished whiskey from High West. Dark fruits, raisins, and jammy blueberries follow, with gentle cinnamon and vanilla rounding out the layered nose. The palate is similarly fruity, with rye spices poking through alongside allspice dram, toasted coconut, and oak. The finish is long and more subtle than the nose or palate, with sour cherries, pepper, and tingly spices slowly fading away." - Whisky Advocate
