Arthur Nash (Tiffany Favrille Glass)
Arthur Nash emigrated from England to America in 1892, where he ran Louis Comfort Tiffany's glass studios until 1919. Nash was the creator of Tiffany’s trademark ‘Favrile Glass’, a kind of iridescent lustred glass inspired by the satiny sheen of corroded glassware found in ancient Roman ruins. At the 1900 Paris Exposition, Tiffany's Favrile Glass won the grand prize.
