Lisa Samphire
Lisa Samphire, born in Canada, began her glass blowing career in 1985. She honed her practice through courses at The Pilchuck School and The Corning Glass Museum, and has taught courses at Red Deer College. In 2008, Samphire had four pieces acquisitioned by the Federal Government of Canada for its Visual Arts Collection, and in 2009 had two works selected to represent Canada at the Cheongju International Craft Biennale in South Korea.
