Dino Martens (Murano)
Corrado (Dino) Martens was an Italian painter and designer, best known for his glass work. After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, he moved to Murano in the 1920’s, joining the Studio Ars et Labor Industrie Riuniteas as a collaborator and partner. Martens was known for his asymmetrical forms, and experimenting with techniques requiring technical complexity.
