Michael Trimpol
Michael Trimpol first pursued a career in stained glass while attending Concordia University in Montreal. He designed and created residential commissions, as well as several public installations. Feeling limited by only working in two dimensions, Trimpol enrolled at Sheridan College School of Craft & Design to learn the art of glassblowing. He established his own company, Hotglass Inc, in Mississauga, Ontario, and in 1995 relocated to Stowe, Vermont, and founded Little River Hotglass Studio.
