A 1960s handwoven rug from Oaxaca, México with a zapotec design known as maguey or "God's Eye". In muted natural tones and dyed with local materials such as cochineal, indigo, marigold and pecan shells. With a white fringe.

Provenance: Bradley Bischoff was a longtime friend and colleague of Ian Tyson. Bradley was also the frontman for the popular Alberta cowboy band, The Wardens. Bradley is a retired park warden and resides in Canmore, Alberta.
