Provenance: This painting was acquired in Germany circa 1930 by Hans Krussman, grandfather of the consignor, and passed by descent through family (Edmonton/Calgary AB). The work was removed from the frame an rolled prior to the outbreak of the war, when the Krussman's left Europe for Canada. The painting was purchased directly from the artist and has been in one family collection.
