Hodgins Art Auctions is honoured to offer artwork from the personal collection of Carolyn Tavender.

Carolyn Tavender (1942–2015) was a trailblazing Calgary art consultant and interior designer who led over 700 projects over her 40+ year career. Major projects included Alberta House in London, Government House in Edmonton, and the Alberta Children’s Hospital. Tavender notably worked on the visual identity of the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics, and was involved in the design for the Olympic medals. Deeply passionate about the arts, Tavender served on numerous boards for organizations including the Alberta Ballet, Theatre Calgary, the CBC, and as Chair of the Banff Centre.
